Surgical Services Coordinator

The Surgical Services Coordinator is a key member of the Surgical Services department, responsible for preparing and maintaining various computer application reports. This position collects data and conducts preliminary operational and statistical analysis, preparing accurate reports to be presented at various committee meetings and to Atlanticare Leadership.
This role acts as an internal consultant to help the Surgical Services Business Director support new and existing businesses and services. The position is also responsible for aiding in the implementation and review of best practice operational and financial efficiency projects.
Must be extremely organized and have the ability to multi task. This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain computer application reports
- Collect and analyze data
- Prepare accurate reports for presentation
- Aid in the implementation and review of best practice projects
- Support organizational goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 1-3 years computer and work experience preferred
- Excellent analytical and communication abilities required
Work Environment:
This position requires desk/computer work for a majority of the time. Requires some walking and standing and occasional lifting up to 20lbs.
