Job Purpose

This position is responsible for the shared management of the Surgical Endoscopy product portfolio.

The incumbent must work cross-functionally within the organization and effectively with external stakeholders to execute company initiatives and manage all aspects of product development, commercialization, and lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for assigned product portfolio(s), working cross-departmentally with various stakeholders internally and externally.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the marketplace.
  3. Work with global marketing to identify appropriate KOLs that could support new product development and provide valuable feedback on products and market.
  4. Coordinate clinical labs and office/conference evaluations for new products with KOL and global marketing teams.
  5. Play a central role to provide clinical, technical, and market knowledge in the product franchise(s).
  6. Support sales demonstrations, closely working with sales management and field personnel.
  7. Develop and drive 3 – 5-year strategic plans for Surgical Endoscopy platform(s) as well as potential for synergistic devices and strategic partnerships.
  8. Collaborate closely with and stay actively engaged in future pipeline discussions together with other product management members, headquarter liaisons, R&D, and marketing personnel.
  9. Stay solution-focused and positively suggest product improvements and innovation.
  10. Work closely with global marketing and R&D counterparts to share best practices and leverage successes in other regions.
  11. Lead commercialization and any required activities for the assigned new products throughout its product life cycle.
  12. Work with sales/sales leadership, national business development managers, clinical specialist team, and field service engineers in the management of field initiatives.
  13. Assist in managing elements of trade show participation with regards to show objectives, booth and partnership equipment requirements, hands-on workshops, and overall execution of an event.
  14. Provide technical assistance to healthcare professionals and internal staff who have technical questions or problems.
  15. Communicate expert opinions on behalf of company products and offer possible solutions to the problems.
  16. Provide trainings on product operations, reprocessing, manufacturer's requirements of the portfolio(s).
  17. Develop product evaluation protocol for new products and lead the evaluation on-site.
  18. Develop tactics to drive adoption and broader recognition of clinical and economic benefits of Fujifilm technology.
Qualifications

Highly focused and results-oriented; able to identify goals and priorities and resolve issues in initial stages.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a close team environment, self-starter who can motivate others.

Possess exceptional communication/interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills.

Proficient computer skills using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Effective Time Management skills.

BA/BS or equivalent, preferably with a degree related to healthcare or biology or equivalent experience.

Minimum 10 years' work experience in a marketing capacity.

Minimum 7 years of Surgical Endoscopy/MIS medical device experience with strong clinical background.

Fluent in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.).

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets essential job related documents.

Ability to present and speak effectively and professionally to all internal and external customers.

Ability to calculate, balance, analyzes sales and marketing data, prepare detailed reports and report data.

Ability to present and communicate in multi-cultural environment.

Availability to frequently travel, including evenings and weekends.

Ability to travel up to 70% of time. Largely domestic but some international travel may be required.

Possess driver's license.
