Sales Representative for Diagnostic Solutions

The In-Vitro Diagnostic portfolio provides the gold standard of molecular-based immunoassay technology for liver surveillance, cutting-edge clinical diagnostic chemicals for leading laboratories across the country, and diagnostic chemicals for OEM white-labeling products.
The Sales Specialist, Diagnostic Oncology, in the Invitro Diagnostics Division, is responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and establishing relationships with Key Accounts and Opinion Leaders within the Liver/Hepatology Medical Oncology community.
Key responsibilities include managing specific assigned geographic areas, driving FUJIFILM HCC Risk Biomarkers sales through the community, and interfacing with Senior Management teams from major IVD manufacturers.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of diagnostic, pharmaceutical, biotech, medical selling experience or oncology medical experience, with a strong understanding of IVD reagent systems, distribution modalities, and clinical performance and utility of assays.
They will also be able to learn and retain in-depth clinical knowledge of tumor types, educate Healthcare Professionals on the benefits of screening and surveillance for liver cancer, and build key office relationships to ensure account needs are met.
The Sales Specialist will be responsible for delivering sales goals by exploring growth opportunities, removing customer barriers, and reshaping sales strategy based on insights.
They will also leverage available resources, market data, and sales experience to prepare for account conversations, while keeping customer needs top of mind.
The ideal candidate will be able to apply strategic thinking, develop and maintain key customer databases, and demonstrate competency with key account management, best practices, and selling skills.
They will also be able to liaise with office and laboratory staff to provide reimbursement support and test coding, and develop business plans aligned to strategic accounts with resource allocations that link to strong business results.
The Sales Specialist will be responsible for adhering to company and compliance guidelines, policies, and procedures, and effectively communicating within the FUJIFILM IVD organization on sales, quality, and compliance issues.
They will also utilize IVD reporting systems for sales opportunities, expense tracking, and reporting, and collaborate with the Medical Affairs Team as needed.
The territory is defined by and directed by the Director of Sales and Marketing and is based on location.
The ideal candidate will be able to travel as necessary or required, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel, and will be proficient in Microsoft Office User skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
They will also understand the critical components of an effective business plan and be willing to accept responsibility for performance.
