The Cigna Group seeks a Strategic Director, Care Solutions Portfolio, to lead the development and execution of a portfolio of value-based care solutions. This role will be responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to the care solutions portfolio, ensuring that all solutions are based on a deep understanding of value-based care reimbursement models and executed to advance quality outcomes for our customers, providers, and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic portfolio vision, aligned with the company's overall strategy, to drive growth and innovation in value-based care solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement integrated solutions and service offerings that meet customer needs and drive business results.
  • Work closely with finance, analytics, and operations teams to understand and drive solutions/service features, functions, benefits, and pricing strategies.
  • Manage the overall solutions/services portfolio and capital budget, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Recommend strategic metrics to measure solutions/services effectiveness, profitability, and impact, and use learnings to refine solutions/services offerings.
  • Serve as a clinical/clinical program subject matter expert/influencer for The Cigna Group, providing thought leadership and guidance on value-based care strategies and solutions.
  • Engage with external organizations to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in value-based care.

Qualifications:

  • 12-16 years of relevant experience, with 10+ years of experience in healthcare and value-based care.
  • Experience supporting value-based care growth and strategy, as well as the evolution of products, services, and technology.
  • Detailed knowledge of the healthcare industry, including current products and services.
  • College degree in Business Administration or related field, with a Master's or Doctorate degree preferred.
  • Experience navigating a matrixed organization and collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams and levels of employees and/or customers.
  • Focus on excellent quality and customer service.
  • Ability to think with an enterprise mindset and to continuously challenge the status quo.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate people and teams while raising performance levels year over year.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to present on large platforms.

Estimated Salary: $160,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
