About This Role

Our Construction Laborers play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for filling gaps between subcontractor trades and maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Safety: Observe and report any safety hazards or infractions, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Tool Operation: Safely operate a variety of tools, including skill saws, drills, and nail guns, as required by the job.
  • Material Handling: Move, secure, install, build, and load or unload construction materials as directed by the Project Manager.
  • Assisting Trades: Assist in the building or construction of various objects, including but not limited to, framing, finishing, and installation of fixtures and equipment.
  • Equipment Operation: Effectively use heavy and light equipment, depending on the job site or assignment.
  • Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized job site, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or supervisor.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent Physical Work: Engage in frequent physical activity, including lifting, digging, bending, twisting, kneeling, climbing ladders, and using hand and power tools.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Lift up to 100 pounds on occasion, as required by the job.
  • Standing and Walking: Stand and/or walk for extended periods of time, as required by the job.
  • Weather Conditions: Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including cold and hot temperatures.
Travel and Vehicle Requirements
  • Local Travel: Regularly travel between job sites within a 5-mile radius of Bellevue and Kirkland.
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid WA State driver's license, an acceptable driving record, and proof of vehicle insurance.
Requirements for Success
  • Experience: 1-2 years of hands-on experience in residential construction, with carpentry experience strongly preferred.
  • Tool Proficiency: Be comfortable working with hand and power tools.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Have experience working with and interpreting blueprints.
  • Work Ethic: Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and dependability.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with a team or independently.
  • Communication: Possess basic but effective communication skills.
