Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled BDC Manager to enhance our expanding team. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication abilities and demonstrate flexibility in their schedule. Daily tasks will involve overseeing a team of representatives responsible for managing incoming calls to the dealership's profit center and effectively guiding those leads through the sales process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage dealership group phone lines, welcoming and assisting prospects and customers
  • Establish objectives and formulate strategies for business and revenue enhancement
  • Review and follow up on all dealership opportunities and manifest lists
  • Conduct outbound calls to invite prospects to the dealership
  • Perform customer satisfaction follow-up calls
  • Reach out to no-show clients to reschedule appointments
  • Set performance targets for the business development team and devise plans to achieve them
  • Provide customers with updates on special-order parts, appointment reminders, and recall notifications
  • Collaborate effectively with sales, parts, and body shop departments
  • Engage with callers and visitors in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner
  • Draft memos, correspondence, reports, and other documentation
  • Train and mentor business development staff
  • Assist in scheduling and confirming sales and service appointments
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Exceptional listening and communication skills, with a friendly and positive demeanor
  • Reliable and adaptable, capable of thriving in a dynamic work environment
  • Professional appearance with a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Experience in the automotive industry is advantageous
  • Retail experience is beneficial
