Key Responsibilities:
The Role:
As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will optimize sales potential by offering technical knowledge and assistance to Redgate's partners, clients, and sales personnel.
With a strong commitment to customer success and achieving revenue goals, you will collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams on technical onboarding and training initiatives, as well as conduct webinars to educate clients on best practices in database change management.
Your Contributions at Redgate Software:
Collaborate with Account Executives to help clients recognize the business advantages of resolving software delivery issues through Redgate solutions.
Provide training and technical updates for Account Executives and Partners.
Serve as the primary contact for the personal development and technical training of the Sales Team, organizing regular assessments of their technical skills.
Work alongside Redgate advocates and product managers to deliver value to our enterprise clients with more intricate use cases.
Stay informed about competitors, competitive challenges, and products.
Relay client needs and product feedback to Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales.
Represent Redgate at various technology, sales, and partner events, delivering demonstrations and sessions to educate clients and the community on industry best practices.
Qualifications:
3+ years in a technical capacity at a similar level.
Demonstrated experience with Oracle.
Hands-on experience in software development, with a solid understanding of software delivery methodologies and best practices, including Agile and DevOps.
Familiarity with relational database management systems (e.g., MS SQL Server, MySQL).
Proven ability to comprehend and convey technical information to a highly skilled audience.
Commercial awareness and a customer-focused approach to sales.
Strong planning and project management capabilities.

Compensation:
Base Salary:
$115,000 - $145,000
Bonus Structure:
$25,000 - $35,000

Study case studies to understand how our solutions address business challenges for our clients.
60 days – Training Day
Successfully demonstrate key solution areas to the internal team.
Continue product training with a focus on implementation.
Introduction to the SE engagement process and the partnership between AEs and SEs at Redgate.
Shadow customer demonstrations and discovery calls from peers.
Meet the Product Managers.
Engage in discovery and demo role plays with your SE mentor.
First deal assigned with support from your SE mentor.
Begin to establish a strong partnership with the Account Executive in your territory.
90 days – Pursuit of Excellence
First solo deal assigned with ad-hoc support as needed.
POC and solution implementation role plays with your SE mentor and peers.
Shadow peers on POC calls.
Familiarize yourself with the SE sales opportunity management platform.
Competitor training and Redgate positioning.
Record your first video for customer onboarding/training.
Continue learning about the underlying technology of Redgate solutions, including various relational database systems, containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD platforms.
