Hoffman Hydronics is actively searching for qualified Technical Sales Specialists who:
- Possess a solid understanding of hydronic and pumping systems.
- Can select and specify pumps and related equipment.
- Understand and navigate the sales process effectively.
- Identify and address customer needs, including generating quotes and securing orders.
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts and a robust pipeline of opportunities to meet sales objectives.
- Utilize innovative sales tools to strategically plan and enhance business opportunities within accounts.
- Ensure customer satisfaction with our products and services.
- Propose improvements in equipment, processes, or materials to drive cost reductions or operational enhancements.
- Monitor sales trends and evaluate product performance.
- Continuously improve sales skills and product knowledge.
- Build and nurture relationships with commercial and industrial clients.
- Upholding and embodying the core values of Hoffman Hydronics.
- Collaborating with branch personnel to guarantee exceptional customer service from order to delivery and beyond.
- Responding to customer inquiries and special requests.
- Collecting and organizing data for reports, presentations, and special projects.
- Creating owner sales plans and achieving successful sales with key customers.
- Maintaining records of sales and customer interactions by updating our ERP system.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing concerns, implementing corrective actions, and communicating effectively with clients and staff.
- Gathering customer feedback to relay perceptions to management.
- Working closely with team members across the organization.
- Contacting relevant parties to facilitate the renewal of service agreements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 4 years of prior sales experience in the HVAC industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge of hydronic and pumping systems.
- Familiarity with products and vendors.
- A strong sales presence.
- Detail-oriented with a professional demeanor and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- A personal commitment to producing thorough and precise results.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Proven problem-solving, leadership, and listening abilities.
- Standard office environment.
- Moderate lifting may be necessary to handle equipment, files, and supplies.
- Extensive travel required.
- Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed.
- Occasional outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
