We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team in the Southeast region.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in generating leads, acquiring bid packages, and successfully closing purchase orders for mechanical products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target potential clients in the Industrial, Paper mills, Petrochem, Power, Steel, and Construction sectors.
  • Effectively manage the bidding process, including the preparation, submission, and negotiation of bid packages.
  • Drive the entire sales process from initial contact to closing, including negotiations and post-sale follow-up.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure repeat business.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Work closely with the engineering and technical teams to ensure accurate and timely responses to client inquiries and specifications.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated success in obtaining bid packages and consistently closing purchase orders.
  • In-depth understanding of mechanical systems, structural steel and fabrication, piping and industrial equipment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical solutions in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders and close deals.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the Southeast region to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years in mechanical sales or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred but not required.
