Position Overview

The Service Appointment Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that vehicle repairs are efficiently managed and completed. This position involves closing repair orders, handling financial transactions, and executing additional tasks as directed by the Warranty Manager or Service Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support customer satisfaction by maintaining a high standard of service quality.
  • Review repair orders for accuracy and compliance with established policies.
  • Return incomplete or incorrect repair orders for necessary corrections.
  • Input relevant labor operation codes, failure codes, and other essential data onto repair orders.
  • Translate Technician comments into appropriate damage and operation codes.
  • Allocate earned hours to Technicians based on their completed operations.
  • Process receipts, refunds, and credits for customers.
  • Collaborate with the Warranty Administrator to ensure repair orders align with vehicle service histories.
  • Assist Service Advisors in finalizing open warranty repair orders.
  • Support management with various projects, audits, and reports as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized service counter display.
  • Accurately compute and record transaction totals.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED, or a minimum of two years of relevant experience or training.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
