Position Overview

The Service Appointment Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that all vehicle repairs are executed efficiently. This position involves managing repair orders, processing payments, and supporting the Warranty Manager and Service Manager with various tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and accurate service.
  • Review repair orders for completeness and accuracy, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Return incomplete repair orders for necessary corrections.
  • Accurately input labor operation codes, failure codes, and other essential data onto repair orders.
  • Translate Technician comments into appropriate codes for documentation.
  • Allocate hours earned by Technicians based on their completed operations.
  • Process customer transactions, including issuing receipts and managing refunds.
  • Collaborate with the Warranty Administrator to verify repair orders against service histories to prevent duplicate claims.
  • Assist Service Advisors in finalizing open warranty repair orders.
  • Support management with various projects, audits, and reports as needed.
  • Ensure the service counter is organized and presentable.
  • Accurately compute and record transaction totals.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED, with a minimum of two years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
