You will engage closely with Designers, suppliers, and merchandising teams to ensure that the product offerings are not only stylish but also financially viable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and identify fashion trends to anticipate future purchasing requirements.
  • Develop trend-driven product lines that resonate with the brand's identity and target audience.
  • Work in conjunction with the merchandising team to maintain a well-rounded product assortment, utilizing sales data to pinpoint strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct ongoing market research and competitor assessments across various platforms to remain updated on industry trends and pricing tactics.
  • Negotiate pricing, quantities, and delivery schedules with suppliers to secure optimal agreements and meet financial objectives.
  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with suppliers, designers, and wholesalers.
  • Participate in fashion exhibitions, trade shows, and supplier discussions to stay abreast of the latest trends and product innovations.
  • Lead Open-to-Buy (OTB) meetings with Merchandisers to ensure the department meets its sales and profitability goals.

Candidate Profile:

  • 5 to 7+ years of experience in procurement for apparel, preferably within an eCommerce fashion environment.
  • In-depth understanding of fashion trends, consumer behavior, and market dynamics.
  • Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience collaborating with suppliers regarding quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Fashion or equivalent professional experience.
