Our Legacy

Since our establishment in 1969, we have combined our proficiency in emergency medicine with a robust culture that prioritizes the success of our clinicians. We operate as a democratically governed, independent physician group, providing ownership opportunities within two years of joining. Currently, EPPA is staffing multiple hospitals and urgent care facilities across the Twin Cities metro area and beyond, with patient volumes ranging from 9,000 to 75,000 annually.

Qualifications

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree is required.
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC) in Emergency Medicine.
  • Possession of a current State of Minnesota MD or DO license and DEA is mandatory.
  • Successful candidates must undergo TB testing and comply with OSHA-recommended vaccinations.

Zone Overview

This role will report to our MHealth Fairview Zone. We strategically assign site coverage based on your tenure with EPPA, starting at larger hospitals and gradually expanding to regional and urgent care facilities as you gain confidence. You will collaborate with zone leadership to determine your coverage sites.

Facilities Overview

Physicians in this zone will have the opportunity to work at various facilities, including:

  • MHealth Fairview Southdale Hospital: Serving the southwest Twin Cities metro area, this facility offers a comprehensive range of specialty services, ensuring great care through advanced technology and collaborative efforts among physician partners.
  • MHealth Fairview Ridges Hospital: Located in Burnsville, this facility provides award-winning care for both adults and children, featuring a 150-bed capacity with advanced emergency, surgical, orthopedic, cancer, and pediatric care.
