The Team

Our Value Solutions Consultants (VSC) serve as essential advisors throughout the comprehensive customer value experience, operating at the crossroads of technology and business. VSCs collaborate with sales teams and clients to devise innovative solutions and prototypes within the Celonis platform, addressing vital business challenges.

You will become a member of the Global VSC Center of Excellence, a diverse and dynamic international team at the heart of the Celonis Value Solutions organization. We thrive in a fast-paced environment and foster a sense of community that encourages learning and collective growth. Our team culture emphasizes trust, ongoing development, and improvement through mentorship and coaching. You will report to a Value Solutions Program Manager.

The Role

Ambitious individuals kickstart their careers in the enterprise software sector by participating in the 12-month Orbit Program as a Junior Value Solutions Consultant, committing to a two-year engagement with an Orbit Hub. Your responsibilities will align with a specific industry within the North American market.

This program offers a distinctive experience that highlights client interactions, mentorship, and a robust team culture where collaboration, development, and shared goals are paramount. You will leverage your prior technical experiences to cultivate essential VSC skills and competencies, becoming a trusted advisor to clients and forging strong, enduring relationships that will facilitate your career advancement at Celonis.

Your journey will commence with onboarding and enablement, further honing your business acumen through a blend of hands-on customer engagement and training. This training will encompass various topics, including developing and coding within the Celonis platform, defining business and technical requirements for clients, addressing objections, acquiring industry knowledge, enhancing presentation and demonstration skills, grasping value selling and realization, and managing customer accounts.

Your Responsibilities:

+ Engage with clients and end users utilizing systems analysis techniques to identify their core business challenges and independently assess how Celonis EMS can assist in achieving their objectives.

+ Adapt existing Celonis applications or develop new ones using Vertica SQL and PQL (Celonis proprietary coding language) to illustrate solutions that alleviate customer process issues.

+ Conduct proof projects by developing within the Celonis platform to demonstrate the value of Celonis EMS in relation to customer strategies, business initiatives, needs, and challenges.

+ Review technical aspects of Celonis IT architecture with clients.

+ Collaborate with clients and partners to design and implement solutions in the Celonis EMS that drive value realization and ensure a favorable return on investment.

+ Establish strong relationships with clients by earning their trust through technical expertise, product knowledge, and business insight, acting as a reliable advisor.

+ Articulate the strategic and quantitative business value that Celonis will deliver to clients and present to senior executives, outlining opportunities, product solutions, and business cases to facilitate investment decisions.

+ Partner with the implementation services team and utilize the Celonis software to ensure customer value is realized post-sale.

+ Monitor and develop success plans for clients; manage customer renewals.

+ Innovate for clients by collaborating and providing feedback to internal Product and Engineering teams to influence product advancements.

+ Create reusable materials, best practices, and tools within the Global VSC Center of Excellence and share them with the regional Value Solutions team.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.

+ Significant internship or at least one year of experience in data analytics or a similar role.

+ Practical experience with at least one of the following technologies: SQL, R, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Python, or another data analytics software/programming language.

+ A strong interest in technology and big data, and their potential impact on the world.

+ Ability to think analytically and creatively, particularly in applying technological solutions to fundamental business challenges.

+ Commitment to creating and delivering value for clients.

+ Willingness to cultivate relationships with senior management and influence decision-makers.

+ Confidence in presenting to audiences, including C-level executives.

+ Enjoyment in problem-solving, thinking innovatively, and learning from mistakes.

+ Curiosity, self-motivation, and a passion for continuous learning in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

+ An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ownership, prioritize, and execute effectively.

+ Eagerness to learn new technologies, such as Celonis EMS.

+ Effective communication skills and fluency in English.
