Position Summary:

The Ski Equipment Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring a warm welcome for members while efficiently managing the delivery, retrieval, and storage of skiing gear. This position requires providing prompt and courteous service while maintaining the cleanliness of the facility and surrounding areas.

Position Specifications:

  • Housing: Potentially Available
  • Outlet: Arrowhead Alpine Club, Beaver Creek Club
  • Expected Pay Range: $22.71 / hour
  • Shift Type: Full Time & Part Time, including Weekends and Holidays
  • Skill Level: Entry

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely delivery of members' skiing equipment to the slopes.
  • Transporting gear from the valet area.
  • Organizing equipment needs for each day/week.
  • Maintaining an accurate inventory of all skiing gear.
  • Documenting ski tunes and ensuring timely delivery/retrieval.
  • Logging daily skiing activities.
  • Adhering to uniform and punctuality standards.
  • Engaging professionally with members.
  • Handling member information with confidentiality.
  • Effectively managing guest inquiries and complaints.
  • Demonstrating multitasking abilities.
  • Greeting members by name and fostering conversation.
  • Monitoring members on the slopes and greeting them accordingly.
  • Assisting with member requests.
  • Maintaining a positive demeanor.
  • Collaborating with team members and supervisors.
  • Willingness to work during weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary.
  • Ensuring a clean working environment in ski storage and outdoor areas.
  • Conducting regular tidying of the club facilities.
  • Supporting the Food & Beverage team as needed.
  • Assisting at the front desk when required.
  • Preparing and serving baked goods for members.

Position Requirements:

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high-profile clientele.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Reliability in punctuality and readiness to work.
  • Capability to lift 50 lbs and manage large equipment safely.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in winter conditions.
  • Flexibility to assist with club operations as needed.
  • Positive attitude and approach.
  • Knowledge of skiing and snowboarding equipment.
  • Previous experience in guest service is preferred.

The expected pay range is $22.71. This reflects the compensation we anticipate for this role, with individual decisions based on various factors.
