Position Summary:

The Ski Equipment Attendant plays a crucial role in providing a warm welcome to members while ensuring the prompt delivery, collection, and secure storage of skiing gear. This role demands exceptional customer service and a commitment to maintaining a pristine environment within the facility.

Position Specifications:

  • Housing: Potentially available.
  • Outlet: Various locations.
  • Expected Pay Range: $22.71 per hour.
  • Shift Type: Full Time & Part Time, including weekends and holidays.
  • Skill Level: Entry Level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently deliver members' skis to the slopes as they prepare to ski.
  • Transport skis from the valet area.
  • Organize ski requirements for each day or week.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all equipment.
  • Handle ski tuning deliveries and keep records.
  • Document daily ski activities.
  • Adhere to uniform standards and punctuality.
  • Engage professionally with members.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding member information.
  • Address guest inquiries and complaints calmly and effectively.
  • Demonstrate multitasking abilities.
  • Greet members by name and foster conversations.
  • Monitor members returning from the slopes and greet them promptly.
  • Assist with member requests and maintain a friendly demeanor.
  • Exhibit a cooperative attitude and follow directions from supervisors.
  • Be available to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary.
  • Ensure cleanliness in the working area and ski storage.
  • Conduct regular tidying of the facility throughout the day.
  • Support the food and beverage team with daily operations.
  • Assist at the front desk when required.
  • Prepare and serve baked goods for members daily.

Position Requirements:

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Reliability in punctuality and readiness to work.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and safely maneuver large ski racks.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in winter conditions.
  • Flexibility to assist with club operations as needed.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with ski and snowboard equipment.
  • Previous experience in guest service is advantageous.

The expected pay range is $22.71. This reflects the anticipated compensation for this role, with individual salary decisions based on various factors.
