Position Summary:

The Team Lead for the Children's Center is tasked with overseeing, coordinating, and scheduling the Children's Ski and Snowboard School Support Staff, ensuring exceptional guest service is consistently delivered. The Lead will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the Children's Ski and Snowboard School.

Position Specifications:

  • Housing: May Be Available

  • Expected Pay Range: $23.00- $24.26 / hour
  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time
  • Skill Level: Advanced

Key Responsibilities:

This role includes the following tasks:

  • Delegating daily tasks to staff members.
  • Creating staff schedules.
  • Managing food orders for daily meals and snacks.
  • Leading morning briefings for staff.
  • Providing training and coaching to team members.

The support staff team is expected to:

  • Check in and out children.
  • Set up the ski yard.
  • Assist with the magic carpet.
  • Manage lunch routines.
  • Supervise staff during children's bathroom breaks.
  • Deliver exceptional service to children, parents, and other guests.
  • Oversee staff responsible for child supervision.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Position Requirements:

  • Resume & experience in child supervision - required.
  • Experience in directing the work of others - required.
  • Strong organizational skills - required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old - required.
  • Previous leadership experience - required.
  • Experience in guest service - required.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays - required.
  • Commitment to work through the winter season - required.
  • Experience working directly with young children and a minimum of 3 years in child-related roles - highly preferred.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions - required.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods - required.
  • Successful completion of a background check - required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Excel - required.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software systems - required.
  • Spanish language skills - preferred.
  • Knowledge of skiing/snowboarding equipment - preferred.

The anticipated pay range is $23.00- $24.26. This range reflects the expected compensation for this position, with individual decisions based on various factors.
