Position Summary:

As a Lift Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe operation of a high-value lift system. Your responsibilities include overseeing the safety and smooth travel of guests and team members as they navigate our premier mountain terrain. Enjoy a fulfilling season while consistently delivering an exceptional experience.

Position Specifications:

  • Housing: May be available.
  • Expected Wage Range: $22.00 per hour.
  • Shift & Schedule Availability:
    • Working hours between 8-10 hours per day.
    • Availability on weekends and holidays as required.
  • Skill Level: Entry Level

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously ensure passenger safety while providing guidance and customer service during the loading and unloading of lifts; adjust lift speed as necessary.
  • Operate the lift to maximize chair capacity in accordance with operational guidelines.
  • Promptly report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
  • Collaborate with the Lift Maintenance team to understand proper lift equipment operation.
  • Execute emergency procedures as needed, including contacting the Patrol team.
  • Prepare the lift for operation by setting up and taking down the maze according to established standards.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including lift shacks; dispose of trash as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • No prior experience required; training is provided for all lift operators.
  • Ability to make quick decisions and exercise sound judgment regarding safety while multitasking and anticipating potential issues.
  • Must be physically capable of assisting guests during lift loading; ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in a mountain environment for extended periods.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as necessary.
  • Ability to manage high guest volumes professionally.
  • Willingness to perform various tasks as needed, particularly during peak periods.

The expected pay range is $22.00 per hour. This reflects the compensation we anticipate for this position, with individual decisions based on various factors.
