Position Summary:

The Team Lead for Children's Center Support Staff is tasked with overseeing, coordinating, and scheduling the Children's Ski and Snowboard School Support Staff/Greeter Team, ensuring exceptional guest service is consistently delivered. The Lead will be responsible for the seamless operation of the Children's Ski and Snowboard School.

Position Specifications:

  • Housing: May Be Available

  • Expected Pay Range: $23.00- $24.26 / hour
  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time
  • Skill Level: Advanced

Key Responsibilities:

This role encompasses the following:

  • Delegating daily tasks to staff members.
  • Creating staff schedules.
  • Managing food orders for daily meals and snacks.
  • Leading morning meetings with staff.
  • Providing training and mentorship to team members.

The support staff team is expected to:

  • Check in and out children.
  • Set up the ski yard.
  • Assist with the magic carpet.
  • Manage lunch routines.
  • Supervise staff assisting with children's restroom breaks.
  • Deliver outstanding guest service to children, parents, and other visitors.
  • Oversee staff in charge of children.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Position Requirements:

  • Resume and experience supervising children - required.
  • Experience directing the work of others - required.
  • Strong organizational skills - required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old - required.
  • Prior experience in a leadership position - required.
  • Previous guest service experience - required.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays - required.
  • Commitment to work through the end of the winter season - required.
  • Experience working directly with young children and a minimum of 3 years in a related role - highly preferred.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions - required.
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods - required.
  • Successful completion of a background check - required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel - required.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software systems - required.
  • Spanish language skills - preferred.
  • Knowledge of skiing and snowboarding equipment - preferred.

The anticipated pay range is $23.00- $24.26. This reflects the range we expect to offer for this position, with individual compensation determined by various factors.
