Job Summary:

Farm Bureau Financial Services is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Sales Agent to join our team. As an Insurance Sales Agent, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying their insurance needs, and providing personalized solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct meetings with new and potential clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Update reports, records, and bookkeeping systems to accurately track progress toward monthly insurance sales goals.
  • Develop risk management strategies for each client to ensure their policy needs are continuously met.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry changes that may affect clients in your portfolio.
  • Pursue new clients through various marketing strategies to grow your existing portfolio of policyholders.

Requirements:

  • Must be a resident of the United States.
  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree a plus.
  • Experience using accounting or sales-related software is beneficial.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain an insurance license.
  • Willingness to learn about the insurance industry, insurance programs, and state and federal regulations that may impact policyholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to analyze complex ideas and provide clear explanations.
