Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Help Desk Specialist III to join our team at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA. As a member of our technically diverse team, you'll work alongside other Help Desk Specialists, Network Engineers, System Administrators, and Database Professionals to provide IT Operations and Support to the Federal Law Enforcement Training Agency.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and resolve computer errors and technical issues
  • Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network problems
  • Train end-users on new technologies and systems
  • Backup and restore data files and systems
  • Install, configure, and upgrade PC software and operating systems
  • Clean and repair computer hardware
  • Provide Tier I and II technical support over the phone or web
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in troubleshooting software and hardware in a customer service role
  • Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and protocols
  • Associate degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ (preferred)
Security Qualifications
  • No security clearance required; Secret Clearance preferred
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must pass a Federal Law Enforcement Background Investigation
