Position Overview
We are in search of a Lead Program Controls Specialist to enhance our Program Controls team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication, analytical, and teamwork skills, thriving in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams in Finance, Engineering, and Program Management. This role offers the chance to influence performance across the entire program lifecycle while closely partnering with program management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist proposal teams by formulating and evaluating cost inputs, pricing proposal components, and ensuring compliant proposal submissions.
  • Establish and uphold program budgets and forecasts using earned value management techniques.
  • Regularly track program financial data on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Develop and maintain monthly forecasts, and conduct variance analysis as necessary.
  • Generate internal and external financial reports for customers.
  • Prepare and deliver quarterly estimates-at-completion (EACs).
  • Ensure adherence to all necessary corporate, departmental, and governmental policies and regulations.
  • Support Program Management by providing ongoing and ad hoc project reporting and analysis.
Education and Qualifications
  • A minimum of a BA/BS degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Experience and Skills
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint or SAP is preferred.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining flexibility.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively address daily challenges.
  • Familiarity with FAR, DFAR, CAS, and SOX guidelines.
  • Ability to convey clear and concise objectives to all organizational levels.
  • Capability to work effectively both independently and within a team setting.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is competitive and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
