Position Summary:

The Branch Manager is accountable for delivering exceptional customer service, achieving growth objectives, enhancing operational efficiencies, and nurturing the development of branch associates. This role involves cultivating and sustaining client relationships while leveraging the complete suite of banking services.

  • Oversees a larger, more intricate branch with core deposits exceeding $60 million or may manage a smaller branch upon successful acquisition of Small Business Advisor certification, dedicating approximately 20% of time to managing high-value relationships.
  • Originates consumer and small business lending up to $250,000.
  • Executes sales and promotional initiatives with creativity and vigor to meet or surpass established goals and quality standards.
  • Facilitates the integrated delivery of financial products and services, including tailored lending and investment management, by referring clients to the appropriate departments.
  • Responsible for driving growth within the branch, focusing on consumer and small business opportunities based on market demand; daily and weekly growth activities are expected.
  • Manages the recruitment, performance evaluation, development, promotion, and termination of branch associates.
  • Provides coaching and mentorship to all associates, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills for their respective roles, including expertise in consumer and small business lending.
  • Ensures compliance with operational efficiency and quality standards.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of banking regulations applicable to the position and ensures adherence to them.
  • May be called upon to mentor or train others and deliver coursework as a subject matter expert.

Candidate Profile:

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in banking, finance, business, or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of supervisory or management experience in retail banking.
  • Active involvement in various community organizations.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, along with other banking software and office equipment.
  • Effective training and mentoring capabilities.
  • Demonstrated sales acumen.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for managing staff and addressing customer service matters.
  • Solid understanding of retail banking services and products, with a preference for experience in consumer and small business lending.
  • Complies with all applicable consumer protection laws governing loan origination.
  • This position requires acting as a Bank MLO, which includes responsibilities related to mortgage loan applications and related activities.
  • This role is not authorized to act as a Bank Closed-End MLO, limiting it to open-end transactions only.

Work Environment: Fully onsite.

We provide a competitive total rewards package that includes base salary and comprehensive benefits. The compensation range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000, with the final offer based on various non-discriminatory factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and location. Performance-based incentive compensation may also be available.

Benefit eligibility begins on the first day of the month following the hire date for associates regularly scheduled to work at least thirty hours per week.
