Position Overview:
The role is outlined below.

This position involves working within a structured schedule, typically Monday through Friday, with one day per week extending into the evening. It is primarily an office-based role.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage accounts that are in default and secured by collateral, aiming to reduce potential losses.
2. Ensure compliance with government regulations, state laws, and internal policies related to asset recovery.
3. Provide support to clients, which may include handling escalated inquiries and negotiating payment plans.
4. Process necessary documentation and utilize various systems to facilitate decision-making throughout the workflow.

Essential Duties:
- Independently handle accounts in different stages of default to achieve resolution.
- Prepare and analyze departmental reports.
- Identify and communicate any issues to relevant parties to mitigate risks.
- Maintain professional relationships with colleagues, clients, and external partners such as attorneys and recovery agents.
- Meet or exceed performance metrics as defined by management.
- Support departmental controls and monitor compliance with key risk indicators.

Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- A minimum of one year of experience in banking, default management, or client services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address complex issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with job-related systems.

Preferred:
- Over one year of experience in repossession, foreclosure, or default management.
- Two or more years of experience in banking or client services.
- Higher education, such as an associate degree or some college coursework.
