Position Overview:

The role entails managing accounts that are secured by collateral and are in various stages of default. This is a critical position aimed at minimizing losses for the organization.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Independently handle accounts in default, working towards effective resolutions.
  • Prepare and analyze departmental reports to track performance.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations, state laws, and internal policies to mitigate risks.
  • Utilize multiple systems and tools to monitor accounts and support decision-making processes.
  • Maintain professional relationships with colleagues, clients, and external partners, including attorneys and recovery agents.
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics as established by management.
  • Support departmental controls and key risk indicators (KRI) results.
  • Evaluate account information and reporting to determine appropriate next steps.

Qualifications:

Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in banking, default management, or client services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address complex issues.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with job-related systems.


Preferred:
- Over 1 year of experience in repossession, foreclosure, or default management.
- At least 2 years of experience in banking or client services.
- Higher education or an associate degree is a plus.
