Intravenous Therapy Specialist

Utilize your expertise to forge meaningful connections with patients and support them on their path to recovery.

This role allows you to dedicate more time to each patient, treating them with respect and care. On average, you will engage with 5-10 patients daily.

A well-established medical facility is in search of an Intravenous Therapy Specialist with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Ideal candidates should demonstrate precision in their work, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a capacity to thrive under pressure. Being organized, detail-oriented, and possessing outstanding customer service skills are essential.

Proficiency in computer applications is required. Your familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and general computer skills will be assessed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and administer various I.V. treatments for patients (training provided) under the supervision of a physician.
  • Address any inquiries patients may have regarding lab test kits and laboratory procedures.
  • Provide oxygen therapy and multi-step oxygen treatments for patients.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, weight, and temperature.
  • Assist with front office tasks, including patient calls and appointment scheduling with scribing support.

Only candidates with prior experience in phlebotomy will be considered.
