This role allows you to dedicate more time to each patient, treating them with respect and care. On average, you will engage with 5-10 patients daily.
A well-established medical facility is in search of an Intravenous Therapy Specialist with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Ideal candidates should demonstrate precision in their work, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a capacity to thrive under pressure. Being organized, detail-oriented, and possessing outstanding customer service skills are essential.
Proficiency in computer applications is required. Your familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and general computer skills will be assessed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer various I.V. treatments for patients (training provided) under the supervision of a physician.
- Address any inquiries patients may have regarding lab test kits and laboratory procedures.
- Provide oxygen therapy and multi-step oxygen treatments for patients.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, weight, and temperature.
- Assist with front office tasks, including patient calls and appointment scheduling with scribing support.
Only candidates with prior experience in phlebotomy will be considered.
