Job Overview:


The primary function of this role is to guarantee that expenditures are managed judiciously and align with the organization's best interests.

This involves collaborating with business stakeholders to understand essential requirements for procurement requests and executing top-tier sourcing strategies for the organization. The role includes leading negotiations, managing bidding processes, and overseeing vendor relationships while ensuring fair and transparent RFx award evaluations. Additionally, this position serves as the principal contact for the business during the execution of purchase agreement terms.


Key Responsibilities:
- Binds the organization on significant acquisitions with managerial consultation.
- Influences business operations significantly by committing the organization to financial obligations for various items including furniture, IT hardware, software, consulting services, and supplies.
- Conducts all sourcing, bidding, and purchasing activities with integrity and transparency.
- Awards purchase agreements based on clear, justifiable, and objective criteria.
- Manages sourcing initiatives ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Gathers business requirements to ensure both cost-effectiveness and alignment with critical business needs.
- Independently identifies alternative vendors, assesses vendor qualifications, monitors quality, and negotiates pricing to meet standards.
- Tracks and analyzes vendor trends, market changes, and supplier performance.
- Utilizes benchmarking data to ensure vendor partners align with industry pricing norms.
- Develops project timelines for sourcing activities and ensures timely delivery of RFx awards.
- Maintains comprehensive documentation for sourcing, bidding, and procurement processes including RFx, Purchase Requisitions, and Purchase Orders.
- Conducts training sessions to promote understanding of sourcing and procurement processes, policies, and best practices.
- Performs analytics and provides key performance indicators to management for review, focusing on sourcing, bidding, and procurement activities.
- Coordinates consistent reporting metrics for management review.
- Collaborates with relevant team members, business partners, and vendors to ensure procurement activities support departmental and organizational objectives.
- Facilitates quarterly vendor business reviews with management.
- Manages Purchase Agreements and necessary contract documentation per procurement policies.
- Acts as the primary resource for sourcing and procurement processes, training, and relationship management for both internal stakeholders and vendors.
- Assists management and team members with projects and process enhancements as needed.

- Proficient in Office 365, Outlook, and Oracle EBusiness.

Education and Experience:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, along with a minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience.
