Job Overview:
The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure prudent financial management of resources, aligning expenditures with the organization's strategic objectives.
This involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand essential business needs for procurement requests and executing top-tier sourcing strategies, leading negotiations, managing bidding processes, and overseeing vendor relationships. The role also entails conducting fair and objective analyses for RFx awards and serving as the main point of contact during the implementation of purchase agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Authorizes significant purchases with appropriate management consultation.
- Influences business operations by committing the organization to financial obligations for various goods and services, including IT hardware, software, consulting services, and promotional materials.
- Conducts all procurement activities with integrity and transparency, ensuring that purchase agreements are awarded based on clear and justifiable criteria.
- Manages sourcing initiatives, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Gathers business requirements to balance cost-effectiveness with essential operational needs.
- Independently identifies and qualifies alternative vendors, monitors their performance, and negotiates pricing to meet quality standards.
- Analyzes vendor trends, market changes, and supplier performance metrics.
- Utilizes benchmarking data to align vendor pricing with industry standards.
- Develops project timelines for sourcing activities, ensuring timely delivery of RFx awards.
- Maintains comprehensive documentation for procurement processes, including RFx, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, and their adjustments.
- Facilitates training sessions to promote understanding of procurement processes and best practices across the organization.
- Conducts analytics and provides key performance indicators (KPIs) to management for review, including insights into sourcing and procurement activities.
- Coordinates regular vendor performance reviews with management and team members.
- Manages the execution of Purchase Agreements and related contract documentation in accordance with procurement policies.
- Acts as the primary resource for sourcing and procurement processes, providing support and training to internal stakeholders and vendors.
- Assists in project management and process enhancement initiatives as required.

- Proficient in Office 365, Outlook, and Oracle EBusiness.
Education and Experience Required:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is mandatory, along with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
This position requires candidates to be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
