Job Title: Technical Coordinator

At Fairfield Medical Center, we are committed to delivering exceptional care to our patients by creating exceptional experiences for our employees. As a Technical Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Imaging department.

Job Summary:

The Technical Coordinator provides general orientation for new Imaging employees and clinical interns, maintains inventory control of supplies, and participates in quality assurance monitoring. This role requires a strong understanding of radiography and imaging modalities, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume the role of a radiographer as needed
  • Perform periodic image quality control and quality assurance monitoring, including PACS administration assistance
  • Provide general staff orientation and education
  • Serve as liaison for hospital information systems applications related to the Imaging department
  • Order supplies and maintain inventory control for the Imaging department
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies as required
  • Provide input to department leadership on evaluation, selection, and implementation of imaging and patient care equipment
Qualifications:
  • Associates degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA-approved school; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
  • Maintains licensure requirements with the state of Ohio
  • Maintains annual CPR certification/When Seconds Count certification
  • 3 years minimum radiographer experience required
Work Environment:

This role requires sedentary work, with occasional walking or standing. The ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally is also required.
