Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Physicians Mobile X-ray Inc. As a key member of our mobile imaging team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic patient care services using ionizing radiation and related diagnostic procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic examinations, electrocardiography (EKG), pacemaker checks, and holter monitoring examinations as ordered by attending physicians in accordance with established protocols.
  • Prepare requisitions and patient histories, including study performed, number of views, physician, and insurance information, and contact referring physicians as required.
  • Coordinate with other staff to ensure appropriate patient care is provided and address problems as they arise.
  • Maintain assigned equipment and vehicles in proper working order and report equipment failures to the appropriate supervisor.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a formal Radiologic Technology Program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
  • Active certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in the specialty(ies) required.
  • Active licensure with the individual state Department of Health if required by law.
  • Current compliance with Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements for specialty(ies) as appropriate.
