Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000 (Annual Draw + Commission)

The Sales Manager is tasked with maximizing the profitability of the sales division while ensuring customer loyalty. This role requires effective management of the sales team, comprehensive market knowledge, and a deep understanding of the financial metrics of all sales departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Structuring deals, finalizing sales, and addressing customer objections
  • Developing strategic action plans and managing the sales team effectively
  • Identifying training needs and promoting development opportunities
  • Assisting sales personnel in establishing ambitious yet achievable monthly sales targets
  • Monitoring customer interactions and ensuring all leads are tracked with effective follow-up through a CRM system
  • Exemplifying professionalism in conduct and appearance
  • Ensuring all sales staff meet or exceed established activity benchmarks for prospecting calls, appointments, and closures
  • Collaborating closely with the sales team to enforce effective selling techniques
  • Setting clear objectives for sales and profit margins
  • Leading daily sales meetings and conducting training sessions
  • Reviewing inventory regularly to maintain an optimal stock mix for maximum turnover

Required Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in automotive sales management
  • A proven history of meeting and surpassing sales targets
  • Exceptional customer service, organizational, and negotiation skills
  • Self-driven, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic in a team setting
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Consistent and stable employment history
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • A professional demeanor and work ethic
