Job Summary

Scion Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Nonprofit Education Site Manager to lead the implementation of supplemental math education programs across multiple schools. This role involves managing a team of math instructors, mentoring staff, collaborating with school leaders, and analyzing student performance data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Implementation: Oversee the effective implementation of supplemental math education programs, ensuring alignment with the nonprofit's mission and goals.
  • Team Management: Manage and support a team of math instructors, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Tutor Supervision and Support: Provide ongoing supervision, guidance, and support to math instructors, ensuring high-quality teaching and adherence to program standards.
  • Mentorship and Coaching: Act as a mentor and coach, offering professional development opportunities and regular feedback to enhance instructor teaching skills and effectiveness.
  • Professional Development: Coordinate and facilitate professional development sessions, focusing on best practices in math education and student engagement.
  • Collaboration with School Leadership: Work closely with school leadership and teachers to ensure program integration, address challenges, and align goals between the nonprofit and the schools.
  • Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments within the nonprofit to share insights, resources, and strategies that enhance program outcomes.
  • Data Management and Analysis: Track, evaluate, and analyze student performance data to assess program impact, identify trends, and inform decision-making.
  • Reporting and Evaluation: Prepare reports on program progress, outcomes, and areas for improvement, and present findings to stakeholders within the nonprofit and partner schools.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with school administrators, teachers, parents, and community members to support student success and program sustainability.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proficiency in teaching mathematics at K-12 or college level. Prior experience working with public and/or charter schools.
  • Local Travel: Ability to travel between program site locations in the D.C. Metro area.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
