Job Overview

Reggio's Treehouse LLC is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Lead Educator. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the growth and development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to the individual needs of our students, aligning with the Reggio Emilia philosophy.
  • Monitor, record, and assess student progress and development, providing immediate and appropriate responses to their needs.
  • Collaborate with other teachers to share new ideas, approaches, and professional knowledge, ensuring a cohesive and effective educational experience.
  • Liaise with the Director to ensure the effective delivery of the curriculum, selecting resources and managing them efficiently in the classroom.
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of children, integrating PSHE principles into our educational approach.
  • Act professionally at all times, setting a good example for our students and maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.
  • Utilize learning resources effectively, creating new ones as needed, and communicating with parents to ensure they are aware of their child's development.
  • Organize and participate in parent meetings, school events, and trips, fostering a sense of community and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a licensed child care facility, kindergarten, or early childhood program is required.
  • Experience in a Reggio Emilia inspired school is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Project Based Learning is a plus.
  • Strong organization skills, multitasking abilities, and a high level of professionalism are essential.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite, are required.
