Education Programs Director

The International Spy Museum seeks a seasoned professional to lead its education programs. As the Vice President of Programs and Education, you will oversee the development and implementation of innovative educational experiences for diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging educational programs that align with the Museum's mission and goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop content and exhibitions that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient and effective program delivery.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with organizations and experts in the field to enhance programming and engagement strategies.
  • Serve as a critical member of the senior leadership team, contributing to organization-wide initiatives and goals.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in museum education leadership, with a focus on program development and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple deadlines and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in education, museum studies, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a museum or cultural institution, with a focus on education and programming.
  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in museum education and programming.
