Overview:

The Front Desk Agent plays a crucial role in ensuring that every guest experiences exceptional service. This position is responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, greeting guests warmly, and maintaining high standards of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver outstanding guest service by fostering a friendly environment and responding to guest needs promptly.
  2. Exhibit professionalism and hospitality at all times, ensuring guest satisfaction is prioritized.
  3. Implement safety and security protocols to maintain a secure environment for both guests and staff.
  4. Develop and maintain positive relationships with all associates to promote a collaborative workplace.
  5. Utilize effective communication skills to engage with guests, addressing inquiries and requests efficiently.
  6. Maximize occupancy and revenue through effective operational and sales techniques.
  7. Adhere to accounting procedures, maintaining accurate cash handling and transaction records.
  8. Stay informed about hotel operations and communicate relevant information to management and team members.
  9. Respond appropriately to emergency situations, following established safety protocols.
  10. Manage the registration process, ensuring accurate guest information and seamless check-in/check-out experiences.
  11. Handle various forms of payment and maintain compliance with financial procedures.
  12. Provide guests with safety deposit box services in accordance with hotel policies.
  13. Answer phone calls with a positive demeanor, relaying messages and information to guests as needed.
  14. Uphold the standards of service set forth by Auro Hotels, projecting a positive image to the public.
  15. Complete all tasks efficiently and in alignment with company policies and objectives.
  16. Demonstrate respect and professionalism towards guests, vendors, and colleagues at all times.
  17. Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
  18. Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to grooming standards.

Qualifications:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience: Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.

Licenses & Certifications: Relevant certifications may be required.
