Overview:

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for ensuring that every guest receives exceptional service by creating a welcoming atmosphere. This role involves greeting and acknowledging each guest, maintaining high standards of service, and possessing thorough knowledge of hotel offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide a warm and sincere welcome to guests upon arrival.
  2. Utilize effective communication skills to listen to guest requests and respond appropriately.
  3. Implement operational strategies to optimize occupancy rates and enhance revenue.
  4. Maintain accurate knowledge of hotel facilities and promote them effectively.
  5. Adhere to accounting guidelines while managing cash transactions.
  6. Foster effective communication with all hotel departments to ensure seamless operations.
  7. Participate in scheduled meetings and share insights with management.
  8. Follow safety and security protocols to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff.
  9. Manage front office technology and equipment proficiently.
  10. Facilitate the registration process, ensuring accurate guest information is collected.
  11. Handle guest payments and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
  12. Assist guests with inquiries and resolve any issues that arise.

Additional Duties:

Uphold the standards of service established by Auro Hotels, projecting a positive image at all times. Complete all responsibilities efficiently and in accordance with company policies. Treat all guests, vendors, and colleagues with respect and professionalism. Maintain a neat appearance and be prepared to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications:

Experience: 1-2 years in a Front Desk role is preferred.
