Position Summary:
The Senior Human Resources Generalist plays a pivotal role in the effective operation of the Human Resources department. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities including recruitment, payroll administration, benefits support, and the development of employee relations. Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, this role collaborates closely with the HR Manager and the broader HR team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the recruitment process, including interviewing and selecting qualified candidates in collaboration with departmental leaders.
- Address employment-related inquiries from staff and management, ensuring sensitive matters are escalated appropriately.
- Monitor compliance with training requirements and assist in the development of training materials.
- Facilitate new employee orientation and recognition initiatives.
- Administer HR programs related to compensation, benefits, performance management, and employee relations.
- Participate in disciplinary meetings and investigations as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to employment laws and regulations, continuously reviewing policies for compliance.
- Stay informed on HR trends and best practices to enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Support the HR team in various operational and project-based tasks.
- Execute additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS systems.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a human resources generalist role is preferred.
- Experience in dynamic or fast-paced environments is advantageous.
- Certification such as SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
- Capability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
- Ability to navigate various departments within the organization.
Work Environment
- This position requires in-person attendance and collaboration with team members.
- Regular travel within the Tulsa area may be necessary.
