Position Overview

Pailin Group Psc is in search of a Vice President of Human Resources to spearhead and oversee all facets of the Human Resources function. This role will involve close collaboration with the parent organization to enhance alignment and integration within the HR domain.

The selected candidate will report directly to the Executive Vice-President of Strategy, Talent, and Talent Operations, working in tandem with HR leaders across the organization in key areas such as Recruitment, Learning and Development, and Diversity & Inclusion.

The VP of HR will be instrumental in establishing the HR function as a reliable partner within Pailin Group Psc, engaging closely with business leaders to optimize employee capabilities. Given the dynamic nature of initiatives at Pailin Group Psc, this role demands a transformative leader who is both innovative and strategic.

Key Responsibilities

Oversight of Human Resources

  1. Oversee all aspects of the Human Resources department, including:
    1. Compensation and Payroll
    2. Employee Benefits
    3. Talent Development
    4. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
    5. Workforce Planning & Recruitment
    6. Performance Evaluation
    7. Learning & Development
    8. Employee Engagement & Culture
    9. Regulatory Compliance
  2. Establish and manage departmental goals and priorities.
  3. Develop and oversee HR budgets.
  4. Lead and mentor the HR team, including payroll, benefits, and recruitment specialists.
  5. Advise leadership on resolving employee relations matters.
  6. Implement procedures for hiring, promotions, and performance assessments.
  7. Design a competitive compensation and benefits framework to attract and retain top talent.
  8. Ensure accuracy in payroll processes through effective internal controls.
  9. Manage relationships with key vendors, including benefits brokers.
  10. Stay informed on relevant laws and regulations.
  11. Assist in strategic workforce planning aligned with business growth.
  12. Identify and develop talent for key organizational roles.
  13. Lead succession planning and strategies for employee development and retention.

Collaboration with Leadership

  1. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, fostering a performance-driven culture.
  2. Design organizational structures that support critical business strategies.
  3. Build strong relationships across corporate functions to ensure alignment with enterprise initiatives.
  4. Develop and implement HR programs that attract and retain essential talent.
  5. Effectively execute HR initiatives related to Recruitment, Learning, and Diversity & Inclusion.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  2. 15+ years of HR experience, particularly in innovative and rapidly growing environments.
  3. Proven success in HR leadership roles with oversight of talent management and employee benefits.
  4. Experience leading diverse teams with varying levels of responsibility.
  5. Willingness to travel as necessary.
