Position Overview

LaBella Associates is in search of a Senior Electrical Engineer with extensive expertise in Building Projects. This role is pivotal in our engineering team, requiring collaboration with various engineering disciplines to create innovative concepts, strategies, designs, and specifications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work autonomously as well as within multi-disciplinary teams to produce comprehensive electrical engineering documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with mechanical, civil, and structural engineers, along with project architects.
  • Serve as the lead electrical engineer for diverse projects throughout all stages, including proposal, design, bidding, and construction.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure compliance.
  • Assign and oversee project tasks delegated to junior engineers.
  • Engage in meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare detailed building condition assessment reports.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is essential.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in an A/E consulting environment is required.
  • Possession of a New York State Professional Engineer's license is preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is advantageous.
  • Experience with electrical distribution systems, power, lighting, utilities, as well as communications, security, and fire alarm systems is highly desirable.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Proficient in using a computer and keyboard.
  • Capable of traversing uneven and steep terrain.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged durations.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000. The specific salary offered will be influenced by various factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
