The Principal Structural Engineer plays a crucial role in guiding a team of engineers and designers to create innovative structural solutions for buildings and other load-bearing infrastructures.

Your Responsibilities Include:
- Leading a team of engineers and designers, while planning and coordinating the preparation of documentation for multiple significant projects.
- Collaborating with various design disciplines and contractors to ensure the successful development of design deliverables, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Reviewing shop drawings and submissions for compliance and accuracy.
- Participating in construction and design verification walks, providing detailed reports of observations.
- Conducting structural engineering calculations and finite element modeling.
- Acting as a technical expert within the organization, applying advanced concepts and methods in structural engineering.
- Maintaining relationships with stakeholders and related organizations.
- Analyzing and designing complex structural systems for various projects.
- Coordinating structural models and drawings with other design teams.
- Staying updated on industry developments and requirements to recommend necessary changes.
- Mentoring junior structural team members.
- Leading the establishment of office standards and procedures.
- Organizing, executing, and coordinating project assignments.
- Participating in Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes.
- Developing and monitoring manpower and labor cost estimates for projects to assist in evaluating schedules and budgets.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) with a focus on Structural Engineering is required.
- A Master of Science in Civil Engineering (MSCE) from an accredited program is preferred.
- Proven ability to engage with multiple stakeholders effectively and diplomatically.
- Strong communication skills, demonstrating respect and tact in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership qualities and a positive attitude in challenging situations.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Building Systems Software and structural finite element analysis software such as RAM and STAAD.
- In-depth knowledge of industry drafting and design standards for construction documentation.
- Familiarity with codes and standards applicable to building structures.
- Understanding of various project delivery methods, including Design-Build.
- Experience working with global teams or multi-office project execution is advantageous.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) registration is preferred.
- LEED AP or GA certification is a plus.
