Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Albany. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for the design, production, and planning aspects of projects, working closely with our Senior Electrical Engineers and Project Managers. Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design and development of electrical engineering systems, including building power, lighting, low-voltage systems, and photovoltaic project systems.
  • Produce high-quality construction documents and technical specifications for public bidding, meeting tight deadlines and production schedules.
  • Collaborate with in-house design teams, including architects, engineers, designers, and technicians, as well as outside consultants and construction managers.
  • Ensure the highest level of client satisfaction by meeting quality control requirements, cost budgets, and time deadlines.
  • Contribute to the growth of our Albany practice through new business development initiatives, including client outreach, follow-up, and marketing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Professional license or final stages of Engineer in Training Program (EIT).
  • Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in an office environment.
  • Strong design and technical skills, with the ability to work within established cost budgets and timelines.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills, with a self-driven desire to learn and grow professionally.
  • High-level proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office.
  • Project track record in the local A/E/C industry, with experience interacting with various government agencies and municipalities.
