Job Overview

Rooftop Kitchen at City Ridge is a premier dining destination offering an exceptional culinary experience with a focus on artisanal pizzas and gourmet burgers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading front-of-house operations, providing guidance and mentorship to staff, and collaborating with the assistant general manager and corporate operations teams to drive restaurant success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Mentorship
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest experience and staff engagement
    • Provide coaching and guidance to front-of-house staff to ensure exceptional service
    • Collaborate with the assistant general manager to drive restaurant operations and achieve business objectives
  • Financial Acumen and Revenue Growth
    • Manage front-of-house finances, including revenue tracking and budgeting
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and drive business growth
  • Service Excellence and Quality Control
    • Ensure exceptional service standards are maintained across all front-of-house operations
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure high standards of food and service quality
Requirements

  • Professional Attributes
    • Experience with industry-specific software, including Micros, Toast, and OpenTable
    • Ability to adapt leadership style and business approach to meet changing needs
    • Advanced knowledge of food and wine, with Level 1 Somm certification a plus
  • Basic Qualifications
    • 5-7 years' experience in a fine dining high-volume restaurant, with at least 4 years in a leadership role
    • Hospitality degree preferred
    • Knowledge of safety and hygiene protocols
    • Working knowledge of HR practices and labor laws
