Key Responsibilities
  • Install, train, and provide technical expertise on Makino machinery at customer locations
  • Establish a communication link between customers and Makino, ensuring seamless collaboration
  • Occasionally participate in projects outside of the primary product line
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Presentation of a professional image
  • Strong electro-mechanical skills, including motors, drives, and transformers
  • Knowledge of machine tool manufacture, installation, operation, maintenance, and repair, or a broad shop background
  • Availability for regional travel, approximately 25%
Education and Experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, including co-op, internship, or full/part-time roles
  • Knowledge of machine tool manufacture, installation, operation, maintenance, and repair, and a broad shop background equivalent to a complete, accredited apprenticeship training
  • 2-year technical degree in Electrical/Automation and 1 year of experience in a related field
Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations
  • US Passport for international travel
  • Valid Driver's License
