About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team at Apple, Inc. in enabling the next generation of intelligent experiences in our products and services.

This role requires a strong expertise in machine learning domains, such as computer vision, natural language processing, recommender systems, Generative AI, and Large Language Models. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of shipping intelligent features, end-to-end, from idea to production, and experience in building ML infrastructure to enable others to iterate faster.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop machine learning models and algorithms to enable intelligent experiences in our products and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML models into our products and services.
  • Develop and maintain ML infrastructure to enable others to iterate faster.
  • Partner with customer and internal partner ML teams to further adopt and apply our platform.
  • Contribute to the definition and development of the next set of features in our ML platform.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years as tech lead.
  • 8 years of proven experience in machine learning related software engineering.
  • Strong expertise in machine learning domains, such as CV, NLP, recommender systems, Gen AI or LLMs.
  • Proficient in ML training and deployment frameworks, like Tensorflow, PyTorch, Faster Transformer, TensorRT, vLLM.
  • Proficient in cloud computing and data processing infrastructure and tools: Kubernetes, Ray, PySpark, SQL.
  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate technical and architectural problems.
