Job Overview

West Coast Self-Storage is seeking a Part-Time Property Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This role is based in a dynamic environment where you will play a crucial part in maintaining the aesthetic and operational standards of our properties.

As a Property Maintenance Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of outdoor spaces across multiple locations. You will engage in various landscaping and maintenance tasks that contribute to the overall appearance and usability of our facilities. This position involves outdoor work and physical labor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the upkeep of car wash facilities, including minor repairs and cleaning to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
  • Maintain properties to meet West Coast's operational standards, which includes tasks such as changing light bulbs, repairing signage, pressure washing, and maintaining walkways and parking areas.
  • Conduct repairs on various fixtures, including door handles, windows, and signage.
  • Perform landscaping duties such as mowing, weeding, raking, and pruning to enhance the property’s exterior.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
  • Experience in groundskeeping and maintenance is essential.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools is required.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects as necessary.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various environments.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently to achieve team goals.
