Role Summary: Goodwill of the Olympics & Rainier Region has been transforming lives for over 95 years. We are part of a remarkable community that collaborates to create a significant impact. Our mission focuses on providing complimentary job training to individuals facing employment challenges. We offer various volunteer opportunities, including but not limited to:

Retail Assistance Administrative and Clerical Support Special Events Coordination Court-Ordered Community Service Agency Partnerships (Must be approved through the Corporate Office)

Requirements

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:

Demonstrate cultural competence; specifically, awareness, attitude, knowledge, willingness, and skills to work effectively with a culturally and demographically diverse population Exceptional analytical, judgment, decision-making, and communication skills Superior coaching, leadership, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build understanding and consensus

Cultural Competency: Ability to thrive in a diverse organization. Ability to collaborate within a team and willingness to engage actively to accomplish tasks.

Language Skills: Ability to communicate effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this role, the volunteer is regularly required to sit, talk, hear, and type. The volunteer may occasionally be required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The volunteer must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision.

Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.
