We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities, including but not limited to:
Retail Support Administrative and Clerical Assistance Special Events Coordination Court-Ordered Community Service Agency Partnerships (subject to approval from the Corporate Office)Qualifications
Essential Skills and Requirements:
Demonstrate cultural awareness and competence; specifically, the ability to engage effectively with a diverse and demographically varied population Strong analytical, judgment, decision-making, and communication skills Excellent coaching, leadership, and interpersonal abilities, including the capacity to foster understanding and consensusCultural Competency: Ability to thrive in a diverse organization. Language Proficiency: Ability to communicate effectively before groups of customers or organizational employees.
Physical Requirements: While performing the responsibilities of this role, the volunteer is regularly required to sit, talk, listen, and type. The volunteer may occasionally need to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The volunteer must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this role include close vision.
Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.
