About the Role
Valmet is seeking a skilled Technical Field Specialist to join our team in Vancouver, Washington. As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for servicing Valmet's Automation equipment at customer pulp/paper mill locations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Visiting customer sites to perform maintenance, repairs, and upgrades
- Conducting customer training and interactions to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Performing sensor correlations and performance trending
- Carrying out preventive maintenance and fault finding as needed
- Generating visit reports and responding to after-hours customer inquiries
Requirements
- Bachelor's or associate's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Chemical, or Paper engineering
- Relevant experience in the field
