Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Equipment Specialist to join our team at ABM Equipment Co. Inc. As a Technical Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment at various customer production facilities.

About the Role

This is a field-based position that requires frequent travel to different locations, including Oregon, Washington, Idaho, California, Alaska, Hawaii, Arizona, Utah, Montana, and other states. You will work closely with customers to provide technical support and training on equipment operation and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair complex industrial equipment issues at customer sites
  • Provide technical training and support to customers on equipment operation and maintenance
  • Quote parts and facilitate delivery and installation of equipment
  • Document all maintenance, certifications, problems, and solutions of equipment
  • Perform testing in our lab and assess equipment performance based on field experience
  • Recommend upgrades to improve customer production and satisfaction
  • Provide advanced remote support to customers for technical issues
  • Maintain a high level of technical knowledge of products and peripheral systems
  • Conduct on-site application-specific and general machine training

Requirements

  • 2-5 years' experience in service or electronics industries (beneficial but not required)
  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields (beneficial but not required)
  • Highly computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft suite, networking, and system integration

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive benefits such as health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
