As an Advanced Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in interpreting user needs, operational concepts, and overarching system frameworks to formulate comprehensive system requirements specifications.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited institution is required. Alternatively, five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of fourteen (14) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in intricate Department of Defense programs and contracts is essential.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate system requirements and spearhead design and development initiatives.
  • Assist users in articulating requirements, recommend alternative strategies, and conduct feasibility assessments.
  • Provide technical direction for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Oversee system development and implementation planning through the preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and testing plans.
